How to read manga on a Kobo e-reader

Kobo e-readers open CBZ and EPUB natively, but raw files often show small pages with wide margins and spreads squeezed onto one screen.

Best format for Kobo

EPUB gives proper page turns and a table of contents. CBZ works too and opens in Kobo's comic viewer.

Steps

1. On Manga to Kindle, pick your Kobo model (Clara, Libra 2, Sage or Elipsa) and EPUB.
2. Upload the chapters and convert.
3. Plug in the Kobo, press Connect Kindle and choose the Kobo drive. Books are copied into its Manga folder.

Tip

After copying, eject the Kobo; it imports the new books when you unplug it.
